Cast your ballot early at the Advance Vote this weekend

Election Day is Monday, October 16; however, residents who would like to cast their ballot early in the 2017 Municipal Election can vote at one of these Advance Voting days:

Advance Voting within Red Deer

Friday, October 6 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 7 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, October 13 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 14 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Advance voting will take place at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (4525 47A Avenue).

The first Advance Vote was held last weekend, Saturday, September 30, and 324 electors cast their ballots. This compares to 325 ballots cast in the first day of Advance Voting in 2013.

City of Red Deer electors are voting for the Mayor, eight City Councillors and seven Public or five Catholic School Board Trustees. 

To be eligible to vote, an elector must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, have lived in Alberta for the last six consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day (since April 16, 2017) and a resident of the city of Red Deer on Election Day. Voters must provide proof of identification that shows both their name and current address.
