About the Candidate

Family and faith are central to who I am. I have been blessed in marriage and am the proud parent of three amazing children. I have served as Parish Council Chair at Sacred Heart Parish and presently continue my ministry as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Parish. As a former teacher of 35 years, I believe Catholic Education plays an essential role in shaping both minds and hearts. I will continue to advocate for a strong, faith-filled, and student centered school system here in Red Deer.

Candidate Priorities

Advocating to maintain Catholic Education	I will advocate at every level to protect and preserve Catholic Education so that families in Red Deer and across Alberta continue to have choice to educate their children in a faith-filled environment.
Build relations between Home, School and Parish	A child's education flourishes when the home, school and parish are connected. I am committed to supporting initiatives that build stronger ties between families, educators and parish communities.
Advocating for Sustainable Funding	Adequate funding ensures that every child, regardless of background or ability, receives a quality Catholic Education. I will advocate for fair funding that supports lower class sizes and provides more specialized supports in the classroom.
Respectful Collaboration in the Decisions	Decisions should always reflect the voices of families, ensuring that schools remain responsive and rooted in the needs of the school community. I will work to create open, transparent, and respectful channels for parents to share their concerns.
