Red Deer Elections
For City Councillor
City of Red Deer
I first moved to Red Deer in 2009 when I was selected to play for the Red Deer Rebels. The city immediately captured my heart and I knew Red Deer was the place I wanted to call home. I receiving a business degree from RDC in 2016 and launched a thriving business in Central Alberta. My wife and I now reside with our children in a wonderful neighbourhood north of the river. I was elected to council in 2021 and it has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve our city for the past 4 years.
Financial Prudence | I have fought to keep taxes low. I voted against the last 2 tax increases after proposing many unapproved motions that would have saved the tax payer over 5%. I also proposed successful motions that saved residents close to 2% in tax rate increases. |

Standing for Conservative Values | There has been a shift in all orders of government where it seems only progressive values are heard and accepted. Our conservative voices are also important. They need to be represented in local government. |
Less Government Involvement | I have witnessed first-hand the desire for council and administration to get involved in topics and issues that are outside our scope as a municipality. This has led to poor budget decisions while taking our focus away from our core services. |
Common Sense Solutions | Although we often deal with very complex problems, the answers usually come from simple solutions. Common sense is a term that seems to have disappeared from all levels of government. It’s time we bring it back and apply it in our city. |
