About the Candidate
Red Deer has been home to me since 2004. Red Deer is our chosen City, Julie and I want to raise our children in this community that holds my heart. My vision for Red Deer is simple, we want a safe and prosperous community that is clean and crime free. One that is fiscally responsible that responds to citizens needs and looks to the future with the same vision.
Candidate Priorities
| Protecting our Neighborhoods. | My commitment to our community is to safeguard the unique character of our existing neighborhoods. A recent town hall showed that voters are against the Housing Accelerator Agreement and the blanket increase of density in existing subdivisions. |

| Supporting our First Responders | Wait times and staffing are a safety concern for me. We can address that with a commitment to prioritizing adequate staffing. Having to speak to this, tellss me there is a need for clear communication and commitment to improvement. |
| Budgets | We must set a budget based on needs not wants. I am committed to fiscal responsibility and effective delivery of basic services. The flagrant waste of tax dollars must end, starting with a new council. |
| Open Consultation. | My door will always be open to the citizens of our City. There is great need to reform our consultation process with open dialogue and citizens voices that need to be heard. |
| Policing | We are the only large city in the Province that does not have its own Police Force. I will advocate for our own Police Force with a 5 year transition period, knowing that we will be saving tax dollars and a made in Red Deer solution. |
