Candidate Priorities

Responsible Economic Growth	Framed as a direct response to the city's financial challenges highlighted in the KPMG Financial Roadmap report. A key component of this is my proposed city-sponsored bursary program for start-ups.
Tourism and Economic Development	I aim to elevate Red Deer's profile by making it a premier destination for sports and cultural events. This involves fostering strong partnerships with organizations like Central Sport and Tourism Red Deer.
Affordable Housing	I am committed to finding collaborative solutions to this complex issue by bringing together key stakeholders, including developers and non-profits.
A Proactive Plan for Public and Fiscal Safety	To develop and implement an economical and sustainable plan for the Red Deer Fire Department that ensures public safety, addresses critical staffing issues, and restores collaboration between City Council, administration, and frontline firefighters.
Local Accountability Through City Wards	I advocate for the implementation of city wards to improve local representation and accountability. This would ensure that each councillor is directly responsible for a specific geographic area.
