About the Candidate
My passion for public service stems in part from 14 years of dedicated service in the social services sector. This includes supporting at risk youth, persons with complex needs, & community members experiencing systemic challenges in their attempts to reintegrate. I have witnessed firsthand how systems fail. In 2024, I was honoured to be nominated & selected as one of Central Alberta’s 40 Under 40. I am a solution-focused leader who looks forward to serving Red Deer with integrity & vision.
Candidate Priorities
| Diverse Housing and Shelter Options | Safe & appropriate housing is needed for all. Blanket zoning city-wide is not the solution. Investments in addiction & mental health treatment are falling short due to lack of transitional housing & sober shelter beds. We need immediate solutions. |

| Fiscal Accountability and Transparent Governance | Our city’s budget has been impacted by high spending, economic challenges, & social issues. Reserves are reserves & should not be used to fund city operations & projects. Fiscal responsibility & transparency are key to restoring trust & security. |
| Everyone Deserves to Feel Safe in Red Deer | We can build a vibrant, growing city with a foundation of safety by working collaboratively with community citizens & organizations, local emergency services, & levels of government (local, provincial & federal). |
| Collaboration & Advocacy for a Thriving Community | Red Deer has incredible potential & there are many community groups & experts who are working towards solutions. Let's bring these organizations, experts, city council and our citizens together to build the safe & sustainable future we envision. |
