About the Candidate
I am a mother of 3 children in the Red Deer Catholic School system. I have worked as a registered social worker for 20 years. Throughout my career I have supported people from all walks of life and understand that our schools have a diverse population with a broad spectrum of needs. I also have 18 years of community involvement through Kin Canada. I have union experience and look forward to bringing back common sense.
Candidate Priorities
| Reduce Class sizes | There should be a cap on class sizes depending on grade and need of the children. |

| Advocacy for more in class support | inclusion is important, but so is supporting the teacher and the students. There is a difference between equality, and equity. |
| Teacher retention and burnout prevention | Often all the hard jobs are put onto seasoned teachers due to their wealth of knowledge, but risk of burnout is not addressed. |
