Candidate Priorities

For Public Safety	Strengthen community cooperation / Enhance surveillance of high-crime areas / Develop & enhance bylaws to keep residents safe / support programs that offer our youth and vulnerable population positive pathways and support
For Economic Development	An environment that is vibrant and growing so you can have the best chance at success. People need to be excited to call Red Deer home. Support of local business / simplified regulations / funding and promoting events that bring economic benefit
For Engagement and Communication	We need to believe and show transparency and collaboration by: holding regular community meetings / use of online platforms and our education partners to keep informed and engaged / providing regular updates on progress and the vision we share
For Innovation	Embracing innovation is key: modernizing operations especially in the transportation, utility, water, &waste management divisions/support start-ups/SMART initiatives/work with RDP to promote STEM for a future ready workforce
For your family, friends and you	As a neighbour, involved citizen, and a current City Councillor I am always thinking about the big picture and looking for opportunities to make Red Deer a better place.
