    About the Candidate

    I have served as a trustee for Red Deer Public Schools for 20 years, bringing both a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for the community. In this role, I have contributed to strategic decision-making, policy development, and ensuring that good governance guides the work of the board. My time as trustee has been marked not only by a commitment to sustainability and growth, but also by a deep belief in the power of people working together toward a shared vision.

    Student Success, Well-Being & Safety Ensuring every decision puts students first—academically, socially, and emotionally. Supporting programs and policies that promote learning, mental health, and a safe, inclusive school environment where all students feel they belong.
    Good Governance & AccountabilityAs a trustee, my priority is student success, well-being, and safety. I am committed to open, transparent governance that welcomes new ideas and builds trust by listening to parents, students, and educators in shaping strong schools.
    Community Representation & EngagementListening to the voices of parents, students, educators, and community members. Building trust and ensuring the board reflects the needs and priorities of the community it serves.
