About the Candidate
I have called Red Deer home since 2010. With my BA in Sociology from UCalgary and my Social Work Diploma from RDP, I have served over a decade in human services, supporting employment skills development and youth and women empowerment. I am the Founder and Executive Director of the African Caribbean Centre of Central Alberta (ACCoCA). I am an entrepreneur and award winning community builder. I have experience on local boards and in leading women’s health and education initiatives.
Candidate Priorities
| Downtown Revitalization & Economic Growth | Encourage investment by reducing barriers for small businesses, providing free parking around businesses, and converting underused buildings into housing to bring more life downtown. |

| Public Safety | Partner with law enforcement and community groups to strengthen safety downtown and in neighborhoods, while ensuring better supports for people facing addiction and mental health challenges. |
| Education & Opportunity | Advocate for expanded school infrastructure, education linked to gainful employment opportunities, and accessible language programs. |
| Affordable Housing | Work with developers and all levels of government to expand affordable housing options and reduce homelessness. |
| Sports, Arts & Tourism | Promote sports and cultural events to foster unity, support local talent, and position Red Deer as a vibrant hub for tourism and culture. |
