About the Candidate
I was born in Ontario and I moved to Albert 2 years ago where I call Red Deer my home. I am married to Addis with a daughter Efrata from Ethiopia. I have two daughter in Ontario Amanda and Michelle. I am currently employed by the city of Red Deer as a transit operator. I have 35 years of management experience. I have worked for the federal government for 4.5 years on farm subsidies. I have shipped live stock all over the world. I did a environment project with the Ethiopian government.
Candidate Priorities
| Mental Health | We need to work with current charities to make sure every homeless has a place to go, Mental health association will work with the other association to get the homeless of the street. People dealing with mental health could be moved from the hospital |

| Emergency Services | By removing the homeless off the street will give the emergency services a better response time. Paramedics would not be held up with mental health calls and would have a better response time and might have a better outcome. |
| Safe Hiring | We need to make sure our fire department is fully staffed around the clock. We need to make sure our transit is properly staffed. We would want all of Red Deer to be safe hiring to make sure the whole community is safe. |
| Transit | Have the transit routes returned to pre covid levels. Expand and add routes so what we get to the new area of Red Deer. Increase the safety of our transit drivers. |
| Safety | Making sure all the roads are cleared from snow and ice in a timely manner. Revamp the safety policy of Red Deer. Help make sure association's are properly funded. Every dollar the city councillor's spends has to have value for your dollar! |
