About the Candidate

I have called Red Deer home for 20 years and I love this beautiful city. I have faced many challenges in my life that have made me a strong advocate, not only for myself, but for others as well. I am a doer not a talker. I love to inspire other people to take a stand against corruption and injustices. I am a leader and team builder who will face any challenge head on! I am passionate and kind, and I have a great sense of humor!

Candidate Priorities

Taxes	Taxpayers are paying more and getting less from the City of Red Deer. We need to take a deep dive into where our tax money is being spent. We must make cuts to unnecessary spending while ensuring adequate funds are available for critical services.
Criminal Activity	We have a criminal activity epidemic in Red Deer. Everything from theft, to drugs, to vandalism, leading to homelessness and unsafe communities.
Improving Accessability	Mobility and accessibility are a challenge in Red Deer and we must always look for ways to improve. Not just do the bare minimum! We must have a seat at the table when decisions are made that affect our lives, our services, and our daily activities.
Investment and Business	It is no secret that the City of Red Deer tax base is dwindling. The question is why? I would like to learn what other municipalities are doing successfully to grow and incentivize investment.
