City of Red Deer
Hello! I have lived in Red Deer the last 18 years and I am proud to call this city home. It is here that my wife and I are raising our three amazing daughters that keep us very busy! I have spent most of my working career in supervisory and management positions that have taught me the value in teamwork, accountability and communication. Through these three valuable skills I am wanting to bring a different culture into our city hall to see things in a different way.
|Employment and economic growth.||I want to bring diversity and economic growth to our city. By seeking out new investment it will allow new job opportunities as well as the potential for economic growth without the up and down we so often see from our energy sector.|
|Homelessness.||I want to help our homeless population to achieve a better lifestyle through rehabilitation, life skills training, and proper housing placement. Through the Tiny Home Project we are planning to achieve these goals.|
|Criminal activity.||Red Deer's crime needs to see a real and effective change. With proper communication with local law enforcement, our citizens, and the provincial government we are going to work on a plan that is effective for all of Red Deer.|
|Ward system / Ward communication program.||This will provide accountability of our city council to residents of Red Deer in their ward. Through the communication program we have a real view of what is happening within the city. This will allow us to make decisions quickly and efficiently.|
|Hospital Expansion.||We are long overdue for the expansion of Red Deer's Hospital. We are going to communicate to the provincial government the absolute need for the completion of a major central Alberta Hospital.|
